A practical guide for school districtsSchool districts may use several federal, state, and local funding sources to support eligible parents and families attending OyACE conferences. Depending upon the program, allowable expenses may include conference registration, lodging, childcare, meals, mileage, and other transportation costs.

This approach is generally allowable when each expense is connected with the funding program’s purpose, approved in advance, reasonable and necessary, and properly documented.​

OyACE – Oportunidades y Aprendizaje Conferencia Educativa is committed to reducing financial barriers and honoring the time, expertise, and lived experience of those who help make the conference possible. While OyACE is not able to fully cover travel, lodging, or meal expenses for all participants, we do provide modest stipends and on-site supports to help offset costs and promote access and inclusion.​  Read on to learn more.
